Administrative functions are handled by the Administrative and Financial Affairs Directorate, while Human Resources manages personnel matters.

Research units play a critical role, featuring the Istanbul Experimental Research Development and Education Center (İDEA) and the Aziz Sancar Research Center (ASAM). The Clinical Research Directorate and Project Management and Support Directorate oversee study coordination and administrative processes. Additionally, the Health Industries Localization and Project Development Directorate and Technology Transfer Office focus on sector-specific innovation.

The project support system classifies proposals into four groups (A, B, C, D) based on funding limits. Each group has specific ceiling amounts and eligibility criteria, with call programs scheduled according to these tiers. TÜSEB also administers three award programs: the Aziz Sancar Science Award, the Service Incentive Award, and the Health Technologies Prestige Award.
